White Sox Elite FAQ's


  • How many games will be played?
    -      14U and under usually starts sometime in April and plays through the first or second week of July. We strive to play 40-50 games. High School aged teams play approximately 8 weeks and depending on how the    team does it can be roughly 40 games. Their season starts after the conclusion of the high school season.

  • What is the White Sox Elite Travel Team Philosophy/Mission Statement?
    -      Our program is designed to teach young players how to play the game of baseball the correct way. We want to develop their individual skills and within these 2 goals we want to field a winning team. See mission  statement/philosophy on website.

  • What kind of instruction do we provide for the players?
    -     Training packages can be modified slightly for teams according to ages, team budgets or whether a player is a full-time player or pitcher only. (Typically a training package per player consist of 24 one-hour Elite Skills Training Sessions (Nov.- March), 4-6 Private lessons, Two months of Strength and Conditioning (twice per week), Speed Training one a week (Optional), and once a week practices for 14 and under teams beginning in February.

  •     What age levels have travel teams?
    -    Ages may range from 11U-17U we are striving to field highly competitive teams where we want to find players that want to play at the next level.
  •     How many players will be on the team?
    -    12-15 depending on the age group
  •     Is my child able to participate in other sports during the season? 
    -    We encourage multi-sport athletes in our program and do our best to work around seasonal sports schedule. We expect during baseball season that baseball is the priority barring any extenuating circumstances.

  •     What steps are taken if my son wants to play college baseball?
    -    Our college prep program is designed to educate and connect the players and parents to four year and two year colleges. Parents and players will learn about the process of recruiting and what it takes to play at each level (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and Junior Colleges).
