EXPLOSION® has been training thousands of athletes in the Chicago area since 2001. Developed by Sports Conditioning Expert Mark Crabtree, EXPLOSION® builds athletic foundation, whether you play basketball, baseball, fastpitch, football or other sports. A solid physical foundation is the first step in athletic achievement. The best players are the best athletes.

Don’t be fooled by programs whose main selling point is “hard core”. Most programs will try to impress you with how intense their training program is. Next day muscles soreness, complete exhaustion at the end of a workout and a new training routine every workout aren’t signs of a successful training session, and don’t add up to being a better athlete. Most programs focus on how much weight you can lift before worrying about how well you move. At EXPLOSION® getting athletes to move better is our top priority. Once movement is enhanced strength can be built utilizing better movement. 

 

Come in and meet our Expert Coaches and experience a scientifically developed training system designed to make you move better, perform better and feel better. No more endless sprint drills, same old 3 sets of 10 weight training, and frustration over spending all that time sweating and tired without truly changing how you perform. We do things different at EXPLOSION.

 

Start with our Athletic Blueprint Strategy Session. We will learn about your goals, training history, and previous injuries. During the session we will test each athlete on their Athletic Measurables for the sport they play (speed, agility, vertical jump, bat speed, arm speed) We will also take you through The Functional Movement Screen, an evaluation that allows us to learn how well an athlete moves. The screen identifies asymmetries and movement limitations. Based on the data from the screen athletes have the option of participating in our Customized Explosion or Explosion Essentials.

EXPLOSION PROGRAM OPTIONS
AGES 12 AND OLDER

Explosion Essentials

$125/month x 6 months

  • Unlimited access to our high energy group sports conditioning sessions
    • Goal - minimum of 2x/week
  • Each session lasts 90 minutes (click for schedule)
  • Scientifically designed
  • Changes once a month
  • Improves mobility, speed, agility, core, strength and power

* Explosion essentials is tracked via calendar time period not number of sessions used.

4-Month Explosion Essentials

$156/month x 4 months

  • All the benefits of Explosion Essentials with a 4-month commitment

2-Month Explosion Essentials

$375 (one time payment)

  • All the benefits of Explosion Essentials with a 2-month commitment

 

Customized Explosion

$249/month x 6 months, Includes all the benefits of Explosion Essentials plus:

  • One semi-private coaching session a week (4/month*) working on your specific athletic needs and goals (schedule by appointment)
  • Individualized program design written specifically for you (changed every 4-6 weeks)

*Semi-private training sessions must be used each month and cannot be carried forward to the next month

3-Month Customized Explosion

$389/month x 3 months

  • All the benefits of Customized Explosion with a 3-month commitment

Need more semi-private sessions?

  • Add more sessions to any of the customized programs. Additional semi-private sessions can be purchased at 4 sessions for $225
