Chicago White Sox Baseball Summer Camps | Chicago Bulls Basketball Summer Camps
Chicago White Sox Fastpitch Camps

The official youth summer camps of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox are coming to more than 50 communities this summer throughout the Chicagoland area with programs for kids from ages five to 12. These camps are designed to improve the fundamentals of athletes of all ability levels while having fun at the same time. One sport half-day and two sport all-day combination camps are offered at various locations.

The Academy has created a unique experience for all of its summer camp participants at the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field.  Each basketball camp participant, along with one guest, will be invited to the United Center for a tour and a Q&A session with a Bulls personality and a current and/or former Bulls player.  All baseball and fast-pitch softball camp participants will experience Guaranteed Rate Field through a parade on the field around the warning track and a Q&A session with a White Sox personality, a coach and a current White Sox player. All baseball/basketball combo camp attendees will receive both stadium experiences.

“We are proud to offer this exciting experience to all our camp participants,” said Bulls/Sox Youth Academy President Xan Pearson. “Beyond working on their game, these young athletes now have a rare opportunity to visit Guaranteed Rate Field or the United Center and meet Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls personalities. The professional instruction and the opportunity to engage with a pro athlete set us apart from all other summer camp programs.”

At the Chicago Bulls Basketball Summer Camps, professional instructors will work with campers on ball handling, passing, shooting and rebounding. Each participant in the summer program will receive the United Center experience tour, a Bulls Youth Academy duffel bag, indoor/outdoor basketball, summer camp T-shirt, a graduation certificate, two free ticket vouchers to a Windy City Bulls 2017-18 home game and four free White Sox ticket vouchers to attend a 2017 home game.  All athletes will receive a skills evaluation report and compete in the Bulls Skills Competition, presented by Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary.  The top 40 overall qualifiers in each age group will compete at the Champions Day event at the United Center in the fall.

During the Chicago White Sox Baseball Summer Camps, professional coaches will focus on the essential skills of baseball – hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, bunting and base running. Every participant in the summer program will receive a Guaranteed Rate Field experience tour, six free White Sox ticket vouchers, summer camp T-shirt, Bulls/Sox Academy hat, graduation certificate and two free ticket vouchers to a Windy City Bulls 2017-18 home game.  All athletes will receive a skills evaluation report and compete in the White Sox Skills Competition.  The top 40 overall qualifiers in each age group will compete at the Champions Day event at Guaranteed Rate Field in September.

The Bulls/Sox Academy also extends the training with a two-sport baseball and basketball combination camp.  This week-long, all-day camp gives the multi-sport athlete the ability to improve their offensive and defensive game in both basketball and baseball before heading back to school. Six hours a day with a one-hour lunch break along with quality instruction in two sports makes this a one-of-a-kind camp. Each combo camper will receive the benefits of both the White Sox and Bulls Summer Camps including the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field experiences and much more.
