White Sox Academy Elite 13U advanced to the Final Four of the USSA Reverse the Curse Tournament in Huntley before falling in the Semi-Finals.
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 7-5 ballgame against Lou Collier A's on Sunday.
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U got out to the early lead but Lou Collier A's took the lead in the sixth inning.
The top of the first saw the White Sox Academy Elite 13U take an early lead, 1-0. The White Sox Academy Elite 13U's rally started when Mason Graham singled followed by a Tylor Phommachanhom walk. A single by Trey Rucker then moved Graham from second to third and Phommachanhom to second. Sebastian Cabeza walked and that brought home Graham for the first run.
The White Sox Academy Elite now sit at 13-5 on the season after a Final Four appearance at the USSA Reverse the Curse Tournament.

Early lead gives the White Sox Academy Elite 13U victory over Wasco, 10-1
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U jumped out to an early lead on Wasco I and captured a 10-1 victory on Sunday.
Six runs in the first three innings allowed the White Sox Academy Elite 13U to put the game away early. A two-run triple by Trey Rucker, an RBI triple by Sebastian Cabeza, and a groundout by Alex Calarco during the first inning and an RBI single by Brock Jessup in the second inning supplied the early offense for the White Sox Academy Elite 13U.
Rucker racked up four RBIs on three hits for the White Sox Academy Elite 13U while Noah Schnell brought the heat against Wasco I during his outing. Schnell gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his four innings of work. The White Sox Academy Elite 13U also scored on a solo home run by Rucker in the third inning.
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U built upon their lead with four runs in the fourth. A clutch sacrifice fly scored Matt Felske to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Rucker’s single, bringing home Jessup.

The White Sox Academy Elite 13U scored three runs in the third on a two-run triple by Sebastian Cabeza and an RBI double by Emmett Olson.
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U were led by a flawless day at the plate by Tylor Phommachanhom, who went 3-3 against Outlaws' pitching. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.
Outlaws' lineup had no answer for Jay Randle. Outlaws managed just one hit off of Jay Randle, who allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his 5 2/3 innings of work.
The game was never in doubt after the second, as the White Sox Academy Elite 13U scored a run on a fielder's choice. The White Sox Academy Elite 13U answered the Outlaws’ run in the fourth as they scored two runs of their own on an RBI single by Phommachanhom and an error.

Trey Rucker stars as the White Sox Academy Elite 13U defeat Highlanders, 9-1
An impressive effort by Trey Rucker lifted the White Sox Academy Elite 13U to a 9-1 win in six innings over Highlanders on Saturday at Tomaso Park.
Rucker rocked Highlanders with two home runs, one in the first inning and the other in the third. He went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored.
The White Sox Academy Elite 13U beat Highlanders thanks to 12 hits, including four extra base hits. They went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on a two-run home run by Rucker. The White Sox Academy Elite 13U then scored three runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Emmett Olson and a two-run towering home run by Adam Dowler.
Four relief pitchers didn't loosen their grasp on the win as they finished off the game for the White Sox Academy Elite 13U. Alex Calarco faced four batters in relief, while Matt Felske managed to record three outs to aid the victory.

Trey Rucker went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the White Sox Academy Elite 13U to a 9-4 victory in five innings over Rockford on Friday. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Tylor Phommachanhom had an impressive outing against Rockford's lineup. Phommachanhom held Rockford hitless over three innings, allowing no earned runs, no walks and struck out four.
Rockford scored four runs in the first to take the lead but the game was never in doubt after the third. The White Sox Academy Elite 13U scored three runs on a two-run double by Alex Calarco and an RBI single by Mason Graham to take a 6-4 lead. They would follow up with three more runs in the fourth innings to take a 9-4 lead.
