The Bulls/Sox Academy teamed up with Motion Fitness to host the first ever Exergame Education Workshop for PE teachers, Administrators, and Superintendants. The professional development workshop informed participants of the exciting new possibilities the world of exergaming carries by highlighting the physiological effects exergaming has on the human body.

Participants found this full-day of exergaming, educational, and invaluable in helping to promote high-quality physical education and physical activity to maximize the educational experience.

Topics covered included:

Medical views on how a sedentary lifestyle is impacts children with life-long disease.
Proper utilization of technology to revolutionize physical education. (A successful model overviewed results of improved academics, improved disciplinary incidents, and improved health and fitness scores.)
Benefits of exergaming for students with special needs. (Decreases impulsivity to improve learning.)
